Crochet Circle Bag

Crochet for Life, the site that always has modern content and that mainly motivates you to make new projects one more beautiful than the other! If you are a fan of handbags, why not a different step by step, which you will love ?! This pattern has leather straps to ensure that the crochet straps do not extend very easily! Giving a unique touch in appearance, with leather contrasting with crochet; you can choose very short straps, but long straps, you are in charge!

This pattern is very interesting, because having a different designer can attract many customers, both for their own use and as a wonderful gift! And this pattern has double crochet stitches on the front and back, giving it a rough and woven appearance, while making the bottom super sturdy (there are holes, because it is still crocheted with a fairly large hole, but it is not so loose that you you will lose things at the bottom), making the finish even better and being a quality product!

Fasten off, and weave in ends.

ASSEMBLY:

  • Hold a circle base and bag bottom together, right sides facing out, and the circle base facing you. Since the circle base is more of a hexagon, line up one end of the bag bottom about halfway through one ‘side’ of the hexagon.
  • Attach yarn with a standing sc. Inserting hook through both the circle base and the bag bottom, work 1 sc in each circle st, evenly around – Crochet the base and the bottom together using single crochet. You should end at about halfway through one ‘side’ of a hexagon on the other side of the bag.
  • Repeat with the other circle base.
  • Sew the leather purse handles symmetrically at the top of the bag.
    • If you are using the purse handles from my link, with 5 holes (4 corners and 1 in the center), follow these directions to sew a square with an X. With the handle and outside of the bag facing you, work the needle:
    • back to front through bottom right hole
    • front to back through top right hole
    • back to front through top left hole
    • front to back through top right hole
    • back to front through top left hole
    • front to back through bottom left hole
    • back to front through bottom right hole
    • front to back through bottom left hole
    • back to front through middle hole
    • front to back through top left hole
    • back to front through middle hole
    • front to back through top right hole
    • back to front through middle hole
    • front to back through bottom right hole
    • back to front through middle hole
    • front to back through bottom left hole
    • Tie the beginning and ending tails together to secure, and weave in ends.
